Weddings and Celebrations

Dulwich College provides elegance and tradition with the green and spacious surroundings of its estate. There are a number of rooms, each with a distinct character which can accommodate groups ranging from thirty to four hundred.

The Old Library

The Old Library is licensed for civil wedding ceremonies. Situated away from the main College buildings, the vaulted ceiling gives the wood-panelled main room space and light, while the high, leaded, arched windows give a sense of privacy.

It can seat 120 theatre-style or for a reception up to 60 seated or 100 standing.

Great Hall

It can seat up to 200 guests. The imposing staircases lead down to the Lower Hall, which makes an elegant reception area.

Lower Hall

The Lower Hall can accommodate up to 90 guests seated or up to 150 standing.

South Cloister

Two cloister areas are linked by the Lower Hall. The huge arched windows provide a light and fresh area for up to 120 seated guests or 250 standing. The North Cloister houses the James Caird boat, famous for its Shackleton connections.

Pavilion Salle

Up to 80 guests can be accommodated seated or 150 standing.

The Trevor Bailey Sports Ground

The  Trevor Bailey Sports Ground offers a large hall suitable for 100 people seated or up to 200 for a standing reception.  There is a fully equipped bar and newly refurbished kitchen with excellent facilities to support any event.  The Bailey hall and bar are available for hire for parties, weddings or meetings and the grounds are available for cricket fixtures, company fun days or filming during the summer season .

Christison Hall

The Christison Hall is the largest reception room. The main hall, with kitchens attached, can accommodate up to 350 guests for a wedding reception, party or dinner and dance. There are also two well equipped dining areas on the first floor which can be used in conjunction with the main hall.
